Center for Weight Loss & Surgery At Oswego Health Holds Ribbon Cutting

Oswego Health held an Open House for its new Center for Weight Loss & Surgery on Nov. 8th with members of the medical staff and community attending.

At the open house, Oswego Health President and CEO Michael Harlovic officially welcomed the new bariatric physicians, Jeffrey DeSimone, MD, and Kenneth Cooper, DO, along with their staff to the health system.

The new service offers a comprehensive program that leads patients step-by-step through their lifestyle change, with the bariatric staff remaining available throughout a patient’s life. The bariatric physicians typically perform 450 bariatric surgeries a year and have brought their expertise to our community.

Community members can learn more about this program by attending one of the free physician-led seminars held each Wednesday. To learn the time, please call 315-349-5822.
