Oswego Health's Lakeside Heart Center Receives Donation

The staff of Oswego Health’s Lakeside Heart Center was presented with a donation from the family of Barbara Handley-Place, a program participant and longtime member of the Oswego Health Auxiliary, who served as president.

            Oswego Health will utilize the donated funds to purchase a new recumbent bicycle for program participants. The Lakeside Heart Center is located at 177 W. Fourth St., in Oswego, and provides cardiac rehabilitation to community members who have recently experienced a cardiac event. The Center is accredited by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR), indicating the facility offers the highest standards for cardiac rehabilitation.
