Oswego Hospital Auxiliary Presents Annual Scholarships

Oswego Health Auxiliary has announced the recipients of its annual scholarships, open to Oswego Health employees who are advancing their healthcare careers.

Among the four individuals presented a scholarship are seated from left, Paige Blum, an Emergency Room technician, who is earning her registered nursing degree from Cayuga Community College and Heather Hughes, a phlebotomist, who is studying billing and coding for an Associate’s Degree at Bryant and Stratton College. Missing from the photo are Ashley Hein, a laboratory aide, who is a full-time student in Upstate Medical University’s medical technician program, and Morgan Mulkerin, a registered nurse in the Oswego Hospital intensive care unit, who is earning her Bachelors of Nursing Science degree at Chamberlain College of Nursing. She has plans to continue her education and eventually become a nurse practitioner.
