The Manor’s Adult Day Health Services Program Participants Learn About Reptiles

Reptiles of all sorts were the special guest at The Manor at Seneca Hill’s adult day health services program recently.

Daniel Oostdyk, a Wildlife Rehabilitationist, of Grace and Glory Animals in Oswego, brought a variety of snakes and an alligator to The Manor for his presentation. During his talk, Oostdyk shared interesting facts about each reptile.

This Oswego Health program is open to community members aged 18 and older, offering a comprehensive array of services in a homelike environment. This “medical model” integrates activities and socialization with the individual healthcare needs of all qualifying participants. The adult day health services program is designed to meet the healthcare needs of chronically ill, frail and disabled adults, which require certain primary, preventive, diagnostic, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services.
