Oswego Health’s Annual Oswego Multi-Organ Blood Analysis to be Held August 6th - Call 341-0018 24-hours for Your Appointment

Oswego Health and the Oswego Kiwanis Club will hold their annual multi-organ blood analysis on Saturday, August 6th at Leighton Elementary School in Oswego.

Appointments can be made by calling 341-0018, lines will be open 24-hours a day. Community members can also conveniently register on line by visiting: www.oswegohealth.org/BloodAnalysis.

            The analysis screens individuals for various conditions such as anemia, diabetes, and others, as well as for coronary, kidney, and liver diseases. Phlebotomists from Oswego Hospital will be on hand to conduct the blood draw. The cost of the analysis is $35. Typically, these tests can cost more than $340.

In addition, this year there are two optional tests that cost $20 each. These tests include a Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) test, vitamin D test. Residents are encouraged to consult their physician whether to have this extra blood screening.

A 12-hour fast is required. Checks to cover the cost of the screenings should be made out to Oswego Health. Credit cards will not accepted.

The results of the multi-organ blood analysis will be sent directly from the Oswego Hospital lab to the participant’s home and physician in an easy to read format.
