Oswego Health to offer Healthy Living classes

Looking for a life-changing class designed to help community members suffering from a chronic disease learn how to live better?

Oswego Heath is offering free healthy living classes on six consecutive Tuesdays, from 4 to 6:30 p.m. beginning April 4th and ending May 9th. The class will be held in hospital’s cafeteria conference room.

This evidenced-based program is designed to help those with any chronic disease, such as arthritis, heart disease, osteoporosis or diabetes to improve their health status through its living healthy workshops.

The workshops will cover nutrition and exercise, as well as how to get support, deal with pain and fatigue and talk with your physician and family members about your condition. Participants will learn goal setting techniques and establish a step-by-step plan to improve their health.

Those taking part in the program will be provided a free workbook and healthy snacks at each class session.
