OH to offer Free Screenings at the Central Square Apple Festival

Oswego Health returns once again to the Lioness Club of Central Square’s Apple Festival to provide free screenings and health information.

At this annual event, held this year from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sept. 24th and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 25th, the health system will once again have a large tent, where community members can also learn about the healthcare services offered at the nearby Central Square Medical Center (CSMC). Children and youths will also be able to make their own first aid kit.

Oswego Health operates the CSMC at 3045 East Ave. (Route 49), which offers urgent care, laboratory, medical imaging and physical therapy services. A board-certified physician is always available at the urgent care center to treat minor illnesses and injuries. The urgent care is open from 9 a.m. to 9 a.m. daily, including weekends and holidays. For those needing lab or medical imaging services, they are available weekdays from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. weekdays and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. weekends and holidays.

For more information on the services offered at the Central Square Medical Center, please call 668-5212.
